The Tower is situated in Figline Valdarno, 20 km from Florence, and is easy to reach both by train and car. Ideally located for visiting the famous cities of art of Siena, Arezzo, Lucca, San Gimignano and Montepulciano. And for the Tuscan countryside, we are on the doorstep of the Chianti region (Greve, Panzano, Impruneta).

Not only art, culture, history and good cuisine, but also shopping with the most important designer outlets in Italy just a 15 minute drive away (Gucci, Armani, Valentino, Ferragamo, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana...).

The Tower is found in the centre of Figline just a stone’s throw from all the amenities you need - restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, wine bars, cinemas, shops, chemists, banks, churches and the station. Figline Valdarno is a medieval town which dates back to Roman times.
In the centre of the town there is the main square, named after Marsilio Ficino. Dating back to the 13th century, it was originally a market town, and at the top of the square there is the Church of Santa Maria, which dates back to 1257. The Palazzo Pretorio and the gothic Church of San Francesco are found in the nearby Piazza Bianchi. In the hills above Figline, in Gaville, there is the 12th century Roman church of San Romolo.

Today Figline has almost 20.000 inhabitants, and is the second most popular tourist town in the province of Florence, because it has so much to offer.
The British singer Sting has a home in Figline, Villa Il Palagio, which he is said to prefer over his homes in the USA and England, and where he enjoys spending time with his wife Trudie Styler, their children, their dogs, their horses and their mountain bikes.
For sports lovers, riding stables are 5 km away, tennis courts 3 km away and wellness centres 15 km away.
